SOREDI conforms to ISO 9001

Die SOREDI touch systems GmbH, technology leader for IPC with multi-touch functions has received the certificate by TÜV Süd Management Service GmbH. It certifies that all company processes starting from product development to customer service conform to ISO 9001 standard for quality management systems. For partners and customers of the hardware specialist this represents an even higher quality in all business areas combined with a defined process for evolving improvement.

SOREDI touch systems have prepared the certification ISO 9001 with an extensive improvement and documentation of its internal quality management system (QMS). ISO 9001 is nationally and internationally the widely-used standard in quality management and is the basis for a continuous improvement process of the companies’ own QMS.

The industry computer and forklift terminals of the series SH, SH Blackline and Steelpower are developed, built and tested according to strict quality specifications – all relevant processes are described extensively in QMS. „With the growth of our number of units and product types it becomes more important to document our QMS according to internationally accepted standards”, explains Jürgen Heim, managing director sales and marketing at SOREDI. ISO 9001 defines the minimum requirements for a quality management system, in order that companies can meet customer demands and fulfil further specifications of product and service quality.

By a continuous improvement process very important company goals shall be achieved. These include a higher transparency of company processes, higher customer satisfaction and a lower error rate in the company.
In April 2014 SOREDI has created the basis for the optimisation and documentation of the QMS by the relocation to the new company head office in Olching. There the company develops and produces industry computer and forklift terminals for various industrial sectors and special applications in industry.
