SOREDI presents the future for industry suitable handhelds and tablets!

SOREDI touch systems GmbH, technology leader in IPC with multi-touch operation, presents the new product line SH TaskBook at the LogiMAT 2015 in Stuttgart, hall 7 at stand 7C21.

These are modular mobile devices with 7“ und 10“ multi-touch displays behind 1,6 mm strong gorilla glass, which can be operated with wearing gloves.
Exchangeable, optionally available extension modules contain not only fast changeable additional batteries for continuous operation, but also Imager and RFID technology. So the SH TaskBook becomes first choice for all areas of operations in the logistic branch.

The SH TaskBook differs essentially from other mobile devices in industry. Two basic types are available: SH7 TaskBook, 7-inch TFT display in WSVGA resolution 1024 x 600 and SH10 TaskBook, 10-inch TFT display WXGA in 1280 x 800 pixel to choose from. The front unit consists of a 1,6mm thick gorilla glass with a multi-touch and display unit behind, which is integrated in a frame of high-strength aluminium. Because of the adjustable sensibility of the touch unit, a gesture and glove operation is possible. Different CPU modules open the possibility to choose between Intel Atom E 3826 Dual Core and ARM Cortex A9 Dual Core processors for the right performance.

Therefore different operating systems are available Windows 7, either embedded or professional, Windows Embedded Compact 7 (CE 7), or ANDROID 4.x for all requirements. Bluetooth, Wifi, loudspeakers, temperature monitoring and motion sensors are available as standard, UMTS, LTE and camera are available as an optional choice.

At request the three different modules extend the SH TaskBooks to specific tasks configurable handhelds and tablets. Due to the high modularity the devices can be used in all different areas of operations in logistics.

By using the optionally available extension modules, the SH TaskBook can be deployed in intralogistics as handheld for all logistic duties order or as forklift terminal in the areas of service and transport logistics as tablet. More options like short-range and auto-ranger image, RFID reader or exchangeable additional batteries for the operation round the clock, fulfil all requirements of the user. As required all modules can be integrated in one extension module. Many years of experience in production of industry PCs and forklift terminals by SOREDI touch systems have been integrated in the development of the SH TaskBook. The protection category IP65, a temperature area of -25° to +50° and a drop height of 1,5 m on concrete floor makes the TaskBook to a reliable companion in the roughest environments.
